Top 50 in My Fifties
I don't really want a bucket list in the classical form. That list is too nebulous for me. It implies "I want to do these things before I die." But life has no clear ending. So I sat down and wrote fifty things I wanted to do during the decade of my own 50's. Though I was actually born January 18th, 1964 I decided to make January 1st, 2014 my start date.
Here is what I learned in the process of putting my goals to paper. I didn't have an entire list of 50 things right off the top of my head, so I went to the internet and googled "Bucket List." I have really lived!
Let me explain. I started keeping track of all the things on OTHER peoples bucket lists that I have completed. My list of things I have already done was at 254 before I got tired and stopped searching. What I have taken for granted, other people still dream about doing. That fact brought me great comfort that I haven't wasted my first 50 years, even though I had never written my own bucket list.

I am a list writer and love the visual of checking things off. Therefore, I am combining my desire to keep a personal blog with a way to keep track of accomplishments. Here is what I have to look forward to (or back at) in my 50's.
